Psalm 61:2 says, ‘…When my heart is overwhelmed, Lord please lead me to the rock that is higher than I.’ Life challenges can take you to that point where taking a decision would feel like the hardest thing on earth. Here’s the truth, genuine, undefiled and unconditional help comes from one source only – God. Every other source can fail…your spouse, parents, children, job, best friend, business etc can fail you. You know why? Because everything on earth including seasons change, but just one thing remains unchangeth and that’s the One Himself. He is the Solid rock our anchor holds (so that we are not drifted away by the storms), He is the pillar that holds our life (so that we are not drowned by floods). The bible urges us to trust Him with all our heart and lean neither on ours nor anybody’s understanding cos we could get really disappointed. If your ‘ladder of success’ is leaning on the wrong wall, no matter how far on top you are, everything is gonna come crashing down in no time.
